Walla Walla Woman

Walla Walla Woman

By Maurie Nord

She’s been living

in a little mobile home

out of town

Just a mile or two

down highway twelve

on my way to work

I see her there

hanging out clothes

I can tell by what she’s hanging out

she’s all alone

she’s all alone

Walla Walla woman

Walla Walla Woman

tell me your name

you’ve been playing

your solitaire game too long

Walla Walla Woman

let’s have coffee today

maybe you will smile

at some things I say

and make a brand-new start

Walla Walla Woman

don’t keep a wall around your heart

highway 12 walla wallahighway 12 walla walla.jpg2
