Celebrated last night
On their golden anniversary day
Hundreds were there
All excited to share
In the Jameson Whiskey they were givin’ away
The Donnegal News
Held a fine interview
“How did you keep your hearts knit together?
To be fifty years wed
With neither one dead
How’d you make it through rough seas and weather?”
“Well, when we have a fight
We will stay up all night
And we won’t go to bed till it’s better
We had a fight once
We were up for eight months
Tryin’ to get the damn argument settled!”
