Murphy Takes A Drive

Murphy Takes A Drive

By Clancy O’Lafferty

Murphy went drivin’ one day

He went on his carefree way

Then the cops pulled him over

He rolled down is window

“Well, what is the problem today?”

“Now, I don’t want to give you a scare

But how did you drive so far?

Do you know it’s fact, four kilometres back

Your wife fell right out of your car?”

Murphy, he sighed with relief

And he wiped the sweat off of his head

“I was so worried, me vision was blurry,

I feared that I must have gone deaf!”
